Qazi Touqeer

Qazi Touqeer (born 2 June 1985 in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir) is an Indian singer and performer who became an iconic pop sensation in the mid-2000s. Coming from a family of writers and teachers in Kashmir, he trained under music teachers in Srinagar before participating in reality television.

He achieved nationwide fame in 2005 when he won the celebrated reality singing competition 'Fame Gurukul' along with Ruprekha Banerjee, capturing millions of votes across India with his unique vocal tone, charismatic curly hair, and rockstar persona. In 2015, he made a sensational comeback in Bollywood music by performing the viral hit song 'Afghan Jalebi (Ya Baba)' composed by Pritam for Kabir Khan's film 'Phantom'.

Making his reality television return after two decades in Bigg Boss Season 20, Qazi brings nostalgia, flamboyant showmanship, and entertaining musical moments inside the house.
